Qeshm Island Tour

Welcome to Iran. The Qeshm Island tour starts from Tehran, the capital of Iran, however you can start your tour from other cities, too. Considering your arrival time, you can visit the top attractions of Tehran, like the UNESCO listed Golestan Palace or the Iran National Museum. In the afternoon you’ll be transferred to Mehrabad Airport for your domestic flight to the Qeshm Island. Your guide will meet you at the airport and you will head to the eco-lodge at one of the villages of Qeshm Island, where you can get relaxed and get unattached from city hustle for a couple of days. This afternoon you will take a walk by an untouched beach and have a local homemade meal as welcome dinner.

Start you tour by visiting the traditional ship factory and learn about the long process of constructing a ship or Lenj Boat. The skill of building and sailing Iranian lenj boats is an intangible UNESCO cultural heritage and then visit the exotic Chahkooh Valley. This valley has amazing colossal rock formation, which has been formed as a result of rain and wind erosion. Then visit the Salt Cave and finish your day tour by exploring another geo-site named Darre Shur (the salty valley), known for its silence and surreal atmoshere.

Baboo Boom is an old Lenj boat which is renovated by a professional team and is used for sea excursions and tours, and unique experiences of old traditional sailing. Move toward Hengam Islnad by the Baboo Boom and even ride the Lenj boat by its rudder. This Lej will stop by the Hengam Island and you can enjoy a full day of swimming, diving, and snorkeling on one of the most scenic and untouched beaches of this island. Enjoy a barbecue seafood meal served on the boat and learn about the ancient skills of sailing. After seeing the wonderful sunset the lenj will sail back to Qeshm.

Drive to the Hara Mangroove Forests in the morning. The Hara Forest is a significant ecological resourse and protected area. These trees are salt-water plants which is submerged at high tide. Enjoy some paddle boarding and water skiing at the heart of Hara forest and then have a local food. In the afternoon visit the historical Laft Port with amazing architecture characterized with its Baadgir (wind towers). Enjoy the famous scenic sunset of Laft Port and drive back to your ecolodge. 

You will say goodbye to the ecolodge and get ready to leave the Qeshm Island. According to your flight time, you will be transferred to Qeshm Airport to catch the Qeshm-Tehran domestic flight. You also have the option to catch a flight back home directly from the Qeshm International Airport.
